!! SPOILERS AHEAD !!

Someone asked for a guide and I deliver!

Ahhh, Melanie, your best friend... who's also dateable! This short guide is designed to help you be able to romance her (and in turn, get all the good endings for everyone but Folly) so read on ahead if you need any help with her :D

The short answer to get Melanie's route is that you have to get all the good endings in the minigames for each bachelor AND respond positively when asked about them. Friendly reminder that the gift mechanic is there to help you, if you want to ensure getting the right ending with a bachelor, simply give them something and it would solve one of the hearts for you (if they like it of course)!

Without further ado, let's get started! I'll go in depth with each bachelor but will add headers between them. So if you are struggling with just one or two you can go and skip ahead to them.

For starters, Melanie has secret choices that will gain her favour. The first one is during the intro where she gives you the glasses and you have the option of either liking or disliking them. Here is your first choice, to gain her favour, press "They look so cute!"

Your next secret choice before any minigames is when PartyNoob compliments the glasses, and you have the choice to mention liking them or thinking they are fine. Pressing "Thanks, I like them too!" brings joy to Melanie and gets you your second secret heart!

PARTYNOOB

Now we are starting on the character good endings. If you know how to get the character's good end you can skip this! But in this case, I'll assume that you don't know so I'll show the easiest way!

PartyNoob has one secret choice before their minigame and it's when talking about Pest where if you say "Interesting..." PartyNoob will be happy and in turn get an extra heart. (In a specific version of 1.2, you could actually get an extra Melanie heart here lol, it was an accident...)

Now the minigame will start, I'll go through each of the right choices.

The first choice you are given for the talk minigame is "Ask them about the best party they've been at.", in there, PartyNoob will ask if you want to hear about it, the right answer "YES!!!" (obviously!)

Next choice is "Ask about the gift.", in there, PartyNoob asks if you want the gift that they are holding. The first answer is "Sure!" The good thing about this choice is that you get a free (random) item that you can use on other bachelors, take advantage of gifts if you want to speedrun LOL.

Next choice is "Ask for a recipe.", in there, you recall PartyNoob having brought you something in your last birthday party. The right asnwer is "Something sweet." and that's cause PartyNoob just can't (canonically) cook lol

Next choice is "Try to find something in your pocket.", in here you pull out a sticker sheet. None of the answers are wrong answers. However, if you choose the Giraffe, you will gain 2 hearts instead of one!

Next choice is "Pancakes or waffles?", in there, PartyNoob will mention preferring either waffles or pancakes (it's randomized), The right answer is "Me too!"

With that, you should win the minigame. NOW this is important, when asked of your opinion, say that "They are really cute." unless you are after Folly and her Completionist Route, the other choice will not be right.

The next choices will not matter until you reach the next bachelor which is...

PEST

Pest has no early choices that will gain his favour, so we will directly jump to his choices.

The first choice is "You like jazz?" (I sure do wonder what this is referencing.) Pest asks if you got your stunt from PartyNoob, the right answer is "No."

The next choice is "Pull out a fruit from your pockets.", you're hungry you have a choice of a fruit. The right answer is Pest's favourite, "Apple". Which a random fun fact but if you actually press apple after getting more than 2 hearts the response you get is slightly different! Check it out if you want!

The next choice is "Why is there a centipede on the railing?", what happens is rather self explanatory, there are two right answers, you can either "Freeze." or "Notify." Both will get you a heart from him.

Next question is "GIVE HIM ALL YOUR COINS?" in which you have the option to give him your hard earned coins that you planned on using to buy the GPU so in turn the right answer is  to "Urge him to take them." Hope that was worth it!

Finally, you will unlock the final question which is to simply "Stay Silent." If you're feeling lazy and have a gift to give him you can use it here but I'm assuming you aren't.

When you stay silent, Pest will ask you if you were saving for the GPU, answer truthfully with a "Yes."

Then Pest offers a spare GPU he had, here answer "Really?"

Finally, you will be brought to Pest trying to do advances on you (lol), the next right choice is to "Nod." at his advances.

Now you're done with Pest himself! Melanie will ask what you thought and the right answer is "He's cooler than I thought." DO NOT press the other option unless you have already pressed the other option for PartyNoob as well in search of Folly's Completionist Route!

Like the previous bachelor, the next choices will not matter until you reach...

INFECTED

Infected does have bonus choices that can give him extra hearts, in his case, there are two main ones. The first one depends on what you choose on the following choice.

If you go with the first one "(Why are we back home?)", you will be meeting Infected for the first time, where later on you will be met with the choice to shake his hand or not. If you want the extra heart, "Shake it"!

If the second, "Wait... Melanie you didn't....", you will already know Infected, but he doesn't remember your name. The right answer is "Oh it's ok, I can reintroduce myself."

After that, the second important choice is when Infected mentions what he was doing and talks about BlockTales. Here, the right answer is to "Listen?"

Now you should start with two hearts. 

For the sake of this guide, I will start with 0 hearts to show the right answer for all of his talking choices.

In the first choice, "Craft Mine?", you can talk about, well, you read the question. The right answer is "We could put out Craft Mine beds together?"

The next option is, "Ask about the skateboard." where you notice he has stickers on his skateboard, the right answer is "Nice Stegosaurus Sticker."

The next option is, "Talk about his hair.", there the right option is "It looks nice!"

The next option is, "You take a...", either "A small 10-year old figure of fat Pikachu!" or "A small Squirtle figure." are valid options. Though like Pest, you have a certain choice that gets you more dialogue (in this case, the Pikachu gets you more dialogue)

The next option is, "Let's play something together.", you will get a choice before (which doesn't matter but does get an extra line if you choose one of them with one of the game options). The next game options also don't matter, you will get an extra heart no matter which choice you select here.

Finally, after his whole success scene, Melanie will ask on your opinion on him, you have to "Agree.". DO NOT press the other option unless you have purposefully chosen the wrong one with the other two and are after Folly and her Awesomely Evil Completionist Route.

FINAL PART

The next choices won't matter, but if you've done everything right. When Melanie comes back into the elevator and talks how there aren't any more bachelors, Mozelle will turn her booklet around and reveal Melanie as the final name in her notebook.

I won't put a screenshot for the next part as since you are here for Melanie, I won't show her first CG which is where her route starts! The choice to get in her route comfortably will be "Actually, I would like to try this with you Melanie." and you will be put in her ending! The other choice is useful as it branches out for the other endings for the other characters. So in other words, this is Melanie's version of a Completionist Route.

BONUS - MELANIE DISTRESS CG

Adding to this guide since this CG is RNG based (oops) and it's Melanie based.

First, you have to acquire a Kitty in either your first round of shops OR getting it by PartyNoob's gift.

Either or, you will have to keep resetting your game (and that means, restarting from the start) if you don't get it.

For the shops, you have to get the Toolbox Thrift to be able to get a Kitty if you haven't gotten it from PartyNoob. There you will find a Kitty!

Don't get too attached to the poor kitty, because we will be sacrificing them. You know where I'm going with this.

Unpleasant breaks through the elevator, "Play alone." with the gradient.

Once you get in the minigame you must to the despicable act of... giving the cat to Unpleasant...

On the bright side, if you're an Unpleasant fan, this is the only way to get 5 hearts! 

Oh and if you continue on you will get the Melanie CG!
